First Day of School

Sept. 5, 2006: Darrin walked Pono to the bus stop and had a nice father-son time waiting for the bus. It's become a daily ritual. Pono enjoys his new school, which is an American school on the Base. He loves school because he LOVES "waking up early, riding the bus, eating lunch, and everybody speaks English!"

Sept. 11, 2006: I got to stay with Raven on his first day of Asilo (Italian school), which is conveniently located 1 block from our house!!! The parents went into a room and made treats for their children. I made a cut-out drawing of a pirate on a boat. He was happy!
