Happy 4th Birthday, Raven

Raven and his "Knight Cake." Yes, he wanted a "Knight Birthday." The castle is all white because the Evil Ice Queen cast an evil spell, turning the castle into cold. The Knight has arrived and will destroy the Evil Ice Queen, then restore the castle to its previous splendor and glory.
Well, that's the story.
The truth is: How the heck am I, with my meager skills, suppose to decorate a castle?!
The solution: Melt the frosting and pour it on!

Abby, Nate, Grant, Raven, and Big Giovanni

Raven was so cute and excited for his birthday party. It was his first birthday party with friends.

i'm so impressed with your pinata-making skills, and now your cake-decorating skills. It looks EXACTLY like a castle that the ice queen froze over. It reminds me of a Lord of the Rings/Narnia castle. How did you make all the towers??? Raven looks so happy!

Here in Italy, they sell these "Christmas cakes" that are really tall and round. It tastes like a cross between bread and cake. I just cut up one of those cakes to make the castle. I made it late at night and Raven was so happy when he woke up and saw it. He just sat and stared and stared at it, and wanted to eat his breakfast right next to it.
